Chapter 336 Fighting One
Luffy and the sea monster walked along the coast, sunlight casting long shadows on them. As they walked, a commotion came from the rocky area not far ahead, catching Luffy's attention.
Upon closer inspection, they discovered a group of fish-men trapped there. These fish-men were covered in blue scales, some wielding tridents, others carrying enormous conch shells on their backs. When they saw Luffy and the sea monster, their eyes immediately filled with vigilance.
Seeing this, Luffy grinned and showed his signature smile, waving to the fishmen and saying, "Hey! Don't be afraid, we're not bad guys." However, the fishmen did not relax because of Luffy's words; instead, they gripped their weapons even tighter.
One of the larger fish-men stepped forward and shouted at Luffy, "Who are you people? Why are you here?" Luffy scratched his head and replied, "My name is Luffy, and I'm going to be the Pirate King! This is my crewmate, the sea monster." Hearing Luffy's audacious words, the fish-men were stunned and didn't know how to respond.
Just then, the sea monster let out a low roar, seemingly trying to ease the tense atmosphere. However, its roar only made the fish-men more panicked. Luffy, on the other hand, greeted them with a smile and asked if they needed help. The fish-men were skeptical, but without hesitation, Luffy had the sea monster carry a huge piece of driftwood and push it towards the reef area, clearing a path. The fish-men were deeply moved and gave Luffy some local specialties from the sea.
Afterwards, Luffy arrived at a mysterious island. The island was inhabited by various strange creatures and traps. Excited, Luffy grabbed the sea monster and rushed into the mysterious place to explore. However, they accidentally triggered a hidden mechanism! In an instant, a series of sharp arrows rained down on them, accompanied by a deafening "whoosh, whoosh, whoosh" sound.
Luffy remained calm and composed, his body stretching rapidly like a rubber band, easily dodging the deadly arrows. The sea monster, equally formidable, used its armor-like hide to deflect the arrows.
Just at this critical moment, the ground suddenly shook violently, and a colossal mechanical beast, as large as a small hill, slowly awoke from its slumber. It opened its blood-red maw and charged menacingly at them, launching a ferocious attack.
Faced with such a formidable foe, Luffy showed no fear whatsoever; instead, his fighting spirit soared, and his eyes gleamed with excitement. He clenched his fists and rained down punches upon punches onto the giant beast's massive body, each punch containing astonishing power. At the same time, the sea monster closely coordinated with Luffy's movements, using its thick, powerful body to continuously ram into the giant beast.
In an instant, the two sides engaged in a thrilling and fierce battle. Dust flew everywhere, roars shook the heavens, and the whole scene was exceptionally spectacular.
After a fierce battle, Luffy finally noticed the beast's fatal weakness—a dazzling red gem located in the center of its head. In a flash, Luffy leaped high into the air like an arrow, then reached out and yanked, successfully pulling the red gem off.
As the gem was removed, the once majestic beast instantly lost its power, its massive body crashing to the ground, unable to move an inch. Seeing this, Luffy couldn't help but cheer excitedly, then continued leading the sea monster, striding confidently towards the unknown and challenging adventure ahead.
