Chapter 147 Remus and Tonks
Chapter 147 Remus and Tonks
Aris and Harry spent a very depressing few days in this living room. Harry was quite emotional and his temper was easily out of control, so his progress in learning brain block was very slow.
Aries was also forced to share a lot of Harry's memories, and why was it said that he had no choice? It was because Harry's memories were too easy to "read".
The memory of Harry being chased by his cousin Dudley Dursley when he was a child; the memory of Harry living in a cupboard; the memory of Harry communicating with snakes at the zoo; the memory of Harry receiving the acceptance letter from Hogwarts...
"Armor~" Harry was really fed up with the feeling of his memory being spied on, so he tried to fight back with magic.
In a monotonous room, a few children, just for fun, put the infant Aires into a large bathtub. It was not until half a day later that the orphanage staff discovered him...
"All curses are over~" Aeris said calmly. Aeris and Harry regained consciousness at the same time, and Harry looked a little embarrassed.
"I'm sorry...Aeris...I didn't mean to..." Harry quickly explained.
"Come on, buddy!" Aeris said, "Everyone has a past that they don't want to look back on, right? Actually, this is a good idea. Use the properties of the Shield Charm to bounce back the Legilimency. But if the opponent is Voldemort, he won't give you this opportunity. Take a break..."
Time soon came to the day of Harry's trial. Aeris and Draco wanted to testify for Harry as witnesses, but were stopped by Mrs. Weasley.
"Dumbledore came yesterday," said Mrs. Weasley. "He asked you to stay here quietly. If you go over to testify, things will only get worse. After all, the Ministry of Magic didn't ask you to go by name. What are you going to do? Turn yourself in?"
"Was Dumbledore here yesterday?" Harry asked quickly. "Why didn't we know about it?"
"It will be late at night when he comes," said Mr. Weasley, "and you will be asleep by then. Are you ready, Harry? I am going to take you to the Ministry on foot. We are going to do it in a non-magical way... you know... so as to make a good impression on them."
Mr. Weasley took Harry out. After breakfast, Aries was going to continue cleaning with everyone, but was pulled aside by Sirius.
"I need your help with something, Aeris!" said Sirius.
"Go ahead, Sirius," said Aeris, "I'll do my best to help you in any way I can!"
"It was Snotlout!" Sirius curled his lips in disgust, and then said, "He refused to provide Remus with the wolfsbane potion on the grounds that he was busy with work, but he gave us the ingredients, formula and production method. He also said that you might be able to make the wolfsbane potion. As you know, the full moon will be in a few days, so..."
"When do we start making the wolfsbane potion?" said Aeris.
"The sooner the better," said Sirius, "It's better to start now. Shall we go to the living room on the second floor to make it? I'll call Remus. It would be best if he could learn how to make it..."
Several people came to the living room on the second floor with crucibles and materials. "You may need a relatively quiet environment," said Sirius. "I won't be in the way here. Come on, Tonks, let's help with the cleaning."
"Oh!" Tonks followed Sirius away reluctantly, and looked back at Remus every few steps before closing the door.
"Excuse me, Aeris," Remus said.
"Don't be so formal, Professor Lupin!" Aeris said with a smile, and Remus also smiled gently.
The two began to make the wolfsbane potion together. As Aris was making it, he explained the precautions to Remus. Remus would ask questions from time to time, and Aris would patiently answer them. After half a day, they finally succeeded in making a wolfsbane potion.
As Remus drank the wolfsbane potion, he grinned unhappily. "It's so bitter!" said Remus.
"The potions I make are usually very bitter, for unknown reasons," said Aeris.
"Then I'll try it out and you can supervise me, okay?" Remus asked.
"Of course!" said Aeris.
This was just Remus's practice, so it didn't take long and the amount was much smaller.
When Remus drank the wolfsbane potion he made with a wry smile on his face, Aeris tried to say, "Nymphadora Tonks is a very nice girl, isn't she, Remus?"
"Yes," Remus said as he sipped his homemade wolfsbane potion, "very nice girl, she's very nice..."
"So you can't feel her feelings for you?" Aeris said.
"But I'm a..." Remus said bitterly.
"Werewolf..." Aeris said, "But it's not your fault, is it? We always have to try to reconcile with our past selves, Remus. If a girl knows your identity and still likes you, she may have used up all her courage in her life."
Remus fell silent. He drank the wolfsbane potion he made in big gulps, as if he wanted to use the bitterness of the potion to cover up the bitterness in his heart.
