Chapter 133 A Different Summer
Chapter 133 A Different Summer
The next day, to the reluctance of the Hogwarts students, Beauxbatons' carriage flew into the sky and Durmstrang's ship dived into the water.
On the Hogwarts Express return train, it was the last compartment in the last carriage, and it seemed to have become the exclusive compartment for Aeris and Harry.
In the compartment, Hermione was sulking. "I can't believe it, Aeris," Hermione said with a half-smile, "you hugged your Miss Delacour so naturally."
"She hugged you too, and also hugged Harry and Ron..." said Aris.
Ginny and Lavender looked at Harry and Ron with unnatural expressions, but the two idiots looked indifferent.
"We both helped her," Aris continued. "Harry saved her sister from the Black Lake, and I helped her in the maze. The only thing between us was...what did Professor Dumbledore say...oh! That's right...an unbreakable friendship."
Seeing that Hermione was still a little upset, Aries said with a smile: "Okay! We are childhood sweethearts, aren't we?"
"Who is your childhood sweetheart..." Hermione said angrily.
Aeris was relieved to see Hermione's bad mood gone. Draco looked at the two flirting and was speechless.
The compartment door was pulled open and Pansy walked in with Crabbe and Goyle.
"Draco," Pansy asked confusedly, "why are you hiding from us?"
"You are all planning to drop out of school and become Death Eaters. Is there anything else we can talk about?" Draco said expressionlessly.
"Draco Malfoy," Crabbe said. It was the first time Aeris heard Crabbe speak. His voice was low and a little unclear. "Where is the pride of your pure-blood family? You are hanging out with such a group of people..."
"Mr. Crabbe," Aerys said dissatisfiedly, "As far as I know, the Voldemort you worship is also a half-blood. Then what is Voldemort in your eyes? A mixed-blood?"
Crabbe and Goyle had distorted faces and their fists were clenched so hard that they made crackling sounds. Aris smiled, stood up from his seat and took a few steps towards Pansy and the others. A surge of energy burst out from Aris and his originally thin figure swelled up instantly.
Under the pressure of Aries's aura, Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle all took a step back. Aries was now full of muscles and beautiful lines. He was less casual and more ferocious.
"I feel like I'm bullying you when I use magic," Aeris said, "If you come here to chat, we welcome you, but if you come here to cause trouble, I'm sorry, I also know a little bit about fighting."
Draco hurried over and patted Aeris on the shoulder, signaling Aeris not to rush into action.
"So," Pansy said coldly, "is this your choice, Draco?"
"The Dark Lord has tried to kill me more than once," Draco said, "Why should I follow someone who could kill me at any time? On one side, he will trust you unconditionally and help you, but on the other side, he will stab you at any time. If it were you, what would you choose? Parkinson."
Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle looked gloomy and uncertain. They turned around and left without saying anything else.
Aes was like a deflated ball, returning to his original thinness.
After Aeris and Draco sat down, Ron said excitedly, "Cool! Man, what was that just now?"
"It's just a trick to integrate magic power into muscles and temporarily improve physical fitness," Aeris waved his hand and said indifferently, "The weakness of this trick is that it will make you very tired after using it. I don't recommend you to learn it. After all, we are wizards, aren't we?"
This compartment was quite lively, Harry and Draco were bickering, Ron and Lavender were whispering, Hermione and Ginny were chatting, and Aris watched the bickering Harry and Draco and would make a comment from time to time.
But this compartment also seemed deserted, with few people coming to visit. After the witch selling snacks left, only Neville, Luna, Cedric... a few others came to visit and chat with Aeris and Harry.
After arriving at the station, Harry became depressed again. After leaving Platform Nine and Three Quarters, it meant that Harry might not get any news from the wizarding world for the whole summer vacation.
"Write to me more often, please?" Harry said to Aris, Ron, Hermione and others before being taken away by his uncle, "Don't make me feel abandoned again."
Selina led the graceful Ariana and waved to Aris. After being hugged by Mrs. Weasley, Aris wanted to take Draco to Selina's side.
When Mrs. Weasley saw Draco, she also hugged Draco warmly.
Draco's expression looked a little unnatural, "Thank you... Weasley... Aunt..." Draco said unnaturally.
"You made the right choice, child," said Mrs. Weasley, "Don't worry, it will all pass..."
"My name at home is: Aris Grindelwald," Aris whispered to Draco, "Don't call me Grindelwald in front of my adoptive parents, understand?"
"I know... I know..." Draco said impatiently, "You've reminded me a hundred times along the way..."
"Mom," Aris came to Selina and said with a smile, "This is Drag, my friend at school. I invited him to visit our home during the summer vacation. Drag... Drag... my mom... Drag..."
Draco just stared at Ariana blankly, as if he was stupid. Ariana smiled and waved at Draco.
Aeris nudged Draco's arm with his elbow, and Draco came back to his senses. He said a little stiffly: "Hello... Aunt Green... Aunt Green..."
Looking at Draco's reserved expression, Ariana covered her mouth and chuckled, which made Draco absent-minded again.
"What's wrong with you?" Aeris asked Draco in a low voice. "What's wrong?"
Draco just shook his head.
It was already noon, and the temperature was very high. Selina walked towards Green's house while complaining quietly, "Why is it so hot today?"
Aes also whispered softly: "This summer is destined to be different..."
