Chapter 120: Just hold on a little.
Just before the two were washed down the waterfall, Shousui held Chi Yu in his arms to protect his head which could have easily been fatally injured.
It didn't matter if he got hurt, he would grow back if he ate more meat. But if Chi Yu's thin arms and legs got broken or crippled, Shousui said he didn't want to be ordered around by Chi Yu's sickbed.
As the waterfall fell, Shousui felt his head spinning, and then his body hit the rocks in the river one after another. The last hit on his head made him faint.
When he regained consciousness, he felt a warm tongue licking his face again and again. He also gradually felt pains of varying degrees in various parts of his body, especially a dull pain in his head.
The water that choked into his trachea made it difficult for him to breathe, so he coughed violently for a while before he recovered. Mo Yuankai wanted to say "yes", but the words that came out of his mouth were, "You can just hold on a little."
Chi Yu thought that he had injured his leg bones, so without thinking too much, she grabbed Mo Yuankai's arm and put it around her neck, then hugged the man's waist and struggled to help him up.
Shousui, who followed behind, heard Mo Yuankai's later words and looked at the two of them again. He felt that something was wrong the more he thought about it.
