Chapter 15 Arrival at the Supermarket

The supermarket was safer than Gu Nanfeng and Pei Sihao had expected. They entered through the staff entrance, opened the door to the staff break room, and found three employees and four customers inside.

According to them, the supermarket closed its doors and pulled down the security bars immediately after the announcement. It wasn't peak time, and there were only about a dozen customers in the supermarket. Since checkouts now use facial recognition cameras, there were only three employees present. However, after the security bars were pulled down, a customer who had just entered the store suddenly turned into a zombie. The three employees and the four customers closest to them then hid in the break room. The other customers who didn't run over likely turned into zombies.

Fortunately, although there wasn't much food in the rest room, it was enough for four or five people to live normally for more than ten days. So, although the seven of them hadn't eaten much these past few days, they hadn't gone hungry, and they still had a little bit of food left.

Because the lounge was underground, they didn't hear the drone's broadcast yesterday and didn't know the current situation outside. When the door opened, they thought a rescue had arrived and were excited for a long time.

“Yeah, compared to the zombie blood, that rain was the real disaster.” Gu Nanfeng and Pei Sihao found a few free T-shirts from a supermarket promotion, grabbed a bottle of drinking water, and took them to the break room with Yang Xiao to change.
