Chapter 210 Alfalfa Promotion
Chapter 210 Alfalfa Promotion
Sun Hou drove home. Although he hadn't accomplished much on his day trip, he was still a bit tired from the back-and-forth travel.
As soon as Sun Hou returned with his cat, he lay down on the sofa. The white cat was still full of energy, but Sun Hou was too tired to move anymore.
The white cat meowed a few times and then ran away. Sun Hou lay on the sofa for a while before sitting up.
After sitting up, he prepared to cook dinner.
"I just happened to have some freshly bought vegetables, so I'll just make some wontons."
Sun Hou got up to wash the vegetables, planning to cook the wontons directly.
While he was washing vegetables, the white cat ran over and meowed at him. He touched his forehead.
"Are you hungry? I'll go put out some cat food for you."
He walked over, habitually picked up the open bag of cat food, and was about to pour the cat food into the white cat's bowl.
But then the white cat simply dragged the bowl away.
"?" Sun Hou looked at the cat in confusion, only to find that the white cat kept meowing at him, and then ran to the box he had brought back and patted it.
Sun Hou realized that the dog was craving alfalfa.
"Okay, okay, you little glutton. You ate it once and then fell in love with it, so you don't like any other food anymore."
Sun Hou stood up to find alfalfa for his cat.
He opened the bag, took a handful and put it in the cat bowl, then tied the rest of the bag and locked it in the cupboard.
He'd better keep a close eye on things, otherwise his feline overlord will definitely find them and steal the food.
He carried the bowl back to where the white cat was eating and placed it on the ground. The white cat followed closely behind him the whole way, saying, "Eat up, eat up, are you satisfied now?"
Sure enough, after the alfalfa was available, the white cat happily ate it, and even after finishing the alfalfa, it was willing to eat its cat food.
Sun Hou nodded. Thank goodness, his cat didn't only eat alfalfa, otherwise he would have a headache.
After feeding the cat, he's now going to feed himself.
He casually put the vegetables and wontons into the pot, and after they boiled quickly, he took them out, added the seasonings, and ate them deliciously.
"Mmm, this is delicious. Adding this tasty dish makes the wontons even better."
Sun Houmei finished his meal with relish and planned to go to sleep peacefully.
The next day, Sun Hou regained his energy and planned to take his cat to visit his friend.
Before setting off, I usually just carry a bag and that's it, but the white cat scratched at the cabinet with its paws, which was where I had put the alfalfa yesterday.
He had no choice but to take another bag, fill it with a bunch of alfalfa, and set off.
Only then did the white cat agree to be held in his arms, and Sun Hou slowly carried the white cat on his way.
Along the way, the white cat kept tilting its head back to eat, but he stopped it.
As he walked, he arrived near his friend's house, rang the doorbell, and went inside.
"Okay, Brother Sun is here. Please have a seat."
The room was filled with several familiar friends. One of the girls saw him bring in the white cat and reached out to hug it.
"Oh, this cute kitty, let me hug it."
But the white cat was agile and slipped between her legs instead.
The boy advised his girlfriend, "You can't do anything about him. You still have our sweet scent on you. Those two don't get along, so they definitely won't want to be hugged by you."
"Okay, then I'll go and hug our Sweetie."
The girl turned away regretfully and picked up her sturdy orange cat.
Sun Hou walked over and sat down. "That's just how my cat is. This unruly child was making a fuss when I left this morning. It's normal that it doesn't let strangers touch it."
"Oh, that's how it is."
Donna petted her cat and then asked, "By the way, how was your company's spring outing yesterday?"
"It was pretty good. If you have the chance, you can go together. The scenery there is so-so, but the food is really delicious. We had a very satisfying lunch."
Sun Hou recalled the lunch he had yesterday and still longed for it.
Wang Le walked over and smiled, teasingly saying, "Did you go on a spring outing or just go to eat? You came back without mentioning any beautiful scenery or whether you had a crush on anyone, all you did was reminisce about that meal."
Sun Hou shook his head, "If you ask me, that meal was the only one that was really good. It's always memorable no matter how you eat it."
Other friends chimed in, "Okay then, we should definitely try it more often when we have the chance. We can all go on a spring outing together."
"That's how it is."
The group of friends discussed some matters at Wang Le's house and then decided to go out for a trip.
Sun Hou was holding his white cat, and Tang Na was holding her cat, Tian Tian. Both of them planned to take their cats with them when they set off.
Before leaving, Wang Le asked, "Why don't we leave Tian Tian at home?"
Donna shook her head. "Let's forget about it. It'll be good for it to go out for a stroll."
"Okay, let's go for a walk together."
The group walked outside while talking, planning to go to a casual restaurant.
"Let's go, I've already booked a set meal, and it has ten dishes."
"You're ordering so many dishes? There won't be enough room on the table."
"It's okay, I booked the big round table, and there are six of us here."
"That's true, let's go."
Sun Hou and the others went to a home-style restaurant. They sat down and looked at the delicious dishes that were being served one after another. Thinking of the delicious food they had eaten yesterday, they felt that something was missing from the dishes in front of them. But it didn't matter. As long as it wasn't particularly bad, he didn't care what he ate.
The two cats were placed beside them while they ate.
Since Sweetie had fed it before leaving, Donna didn't prepare anything for it. However, Sun Hou's own white cat had eaten something in the morning, so it was still okay to feed it now.
He took a handful of catnip from his backpack and offered it to his cat. The white cat ate it contentedly. Since it had eaten it a few times before and knew there was still some at home, it wasn't as eager as usual.
However, the commotion attracted Sweetie's attention. The orange cat struggled desperately in its carrier, meowing pitifully.
Donna and Wang Le were both startled by the commotion. "Sweetie, what's wrong? You don't seem to be feeling unwell."
"Take it out and let's see if there's any injury."
Donna opened the cat carrier, and as soon as she did, the orange cat darted out and ran to the white cat, starting to snatch the alfalfa.
This really stirred up a powder keg; the two cats, who weren't particularly close to begin with, started fighting.
"Meow"
"Oh dear, ancestors, please stop fighting."
The commotion startled Donna and Sun Hou, and the noise from the two cats playing around attracted the attention of other people in the restaurant.
Sun Hou quickly picked up his cat and separated the two cats.
"It's okay, it's okay, I just wanted to eat alfalfa, I still have some here."
Sun Hou stopped the white cat from snatching the alfalfa from Tian Tian's mouth and took another portion and handed it to him.
