"Daughter, why are you coming home with this good-for-nothing?" Shen Yunlan asked, puzzled, as Su Ruowei and Lin Fan entered the house together.
"Mom, you wouldn't be seeing me today if it weren't for Lin Fan," Su Ruowei said softly.
"What!" Shen Yunlan quickly pulled Su Ruowei aside to ask what was going on, and Su Ruowei told her the truth about what had happened that day.
"How can there be such a person!" Shen Yunlan gritted her teeth in anger, then turned her gaze to Lin Fan, and suddenly an idea popped into her mind.
"You didn't hire this actor again, did you?" Shen Yunlan's eyes darted left and right, then she pointed at Lin Fan and cursed, "It must be you, you good-for-nothing, trying to play the hero and save the beauty to deceive my daughter's feelings!"
