Chapter 295 Premonition (2)
Chapter 295 Premonition (2)
Trelawney hadn't noticed that no students were paying attention in her class anymore; everyone was practically asleep.
Just as Lamia started pecking at the rice, she was suddenly awakened by a loud noise.
It was Harry, lying on the ground with sweat all over his face, a terrified expression as if he had seen something horrible.
"Harry! Harry!" Ron looked terrified and kept shaking Harry's shoulders, trying to shake him off his fear.
Harry finally opened his eyes and covered the scar on his forehead in pain.
"Ron, quickly take Harry to Madam Pomfrey!" Lamia stepped forward and helped Ron lift Harry up.
"Professor, I think we have to do this." Lamia turned around and said to Professor Trelawney.
"Of course, of course, child, but if Harry Potter wakes up, please ask him to tell me the vision he saw. Please pass it on." Trelawney said mysteriously, and Lamia didn't take it to heart. She always did that.
Lamia and Ron supported Harry, and just as they walked downstairs, Harry woke up and refused to go to Madam Pomfrey's medical wing.
"I'm fine, I want to tell you something important! We have to find Hermione!" Harry said nervously, with big drops of sweat still dripping down his forehead.
"Come on, Harry, you look very unwell. You should go to the hospital wing," said Ron.
"No, Ron, I'm sure nothing happened to me right now. I was just... just frightened by what I saw. Yes, we have to tell Dumbledore. He must know what happened!"
Harry was gesticulating and talking incoherently, and to Lamia, what he said sounded just like what Crouch had said that day, with almost no logic at all.
But Lamia and Ron couldn't persuade Harry, so they had to accompany him to find Hermione first. The four of them found a secluded corner and began to discuss Harry's nightmare:
One was a huge snake... The other was a man... a short, bald man with a pointed nose and tearful eyes... He was gasping and sobbing on the hearth rug...
"You're lucky, Wormtail," said a cold, shrill voice from the chair. "You're very lucky. Your mistake didn't make a big deal out of it. He's dead."
"Master!" the man on the ground shouted, "Master, I...I'm so happy...I'm very sorry..."
"Nagini," said the cold voice, "you're out of luck. I'm not going to feed you Wormtail...but that's okay...and Harry Potter..."
The big snake hissed and spit out its tongue.
"Now, Wormtail," the cold voice said again, "perhaps I should remind you that I won't tolerate you making any more mistakes..."
"Master... don't... please..."
The tip of a wand poked out from the side of the chair, pointing at Wormtail.
"Heart-breaking!" said the cold voice.
Wormtail screamed in agony, as if every nerve in his being was on fire.
"This is horrible!" Hermione was incredulous. "We must tell Dumbledore about this."
"Of course we know, Hermione, but will Dumbledore believe it? It's just a nightmare I had," said Harry.
"He will definitely believe it. Dumbledore is the wisest wizard. He must know more than us." Ron has always agreed to go to Dumbledore.
Several people had decided to go find Dumbledore now, but Lamia suddenly spoke.
"Wait, Harry, can you tell me what the mysterious man in your dream looks like?" Lamia herself didn't realize how fast her heart was beating.
"He... has no body!" Harry took a deep breath, his expression tense. "I didn't see any You-Know-Who figure. He was wrapped in a black cloak."
"No body?" Lamia repeated Harry's words, frowning.
She felt that things seemed more complicated. If the Voldemort that Harry saw was real, then what about Tom? Who was he?
……
"Will Dumbledore be in his office?" Ron said the command as he watched Harry walk to the door.
"I don't know, but we have to try," said Hermione.
"Ice lemonade?" said Harry.
The door didn't move at all.
"Okay," Harry sighed, "Pear Hard Candies, uh - Liquorice Wands, Fizzy Bees, Puffball Super Bubble Gum, Pippy Every-Flavor Beans... Oh, no, Professor Dumbledore doesn't like this... Could you please open the door?" he said irritably. "I really need to see him. It's urgent!"
The door remained motionless.
Harry kicked it, but it had no effect except for a sharp pain in his big toe.
"Chocolate Frog!" he cried, jumping up and down in a rage. "Sugar quills! Cockroach piles!"
Suddenly, the door trembled and opened.
Harry turned around and looked at the three people behind him in surprise. "I really didn't know the password was this. I was just joking."
Ron covered his mouth and laughed secretly. He had already thought about how to laugh at his brother later.
The four of them walked in. It was quiet inside and Dumbledore was not in the office.
"What now? Dumbledore isn't here," said Hermione.
"Let's wait for him for a while." Lamia found a sofa and sat down. Her mind was in a mess. No wonder she always felt that Tom was hiding something, otherwise why would he come to Hogwarts? There was no one here who was not a threat to him.
Now, he must have been hiding from this world's Voldemort, but why?
Lamia had always believed that Tom's ability to come into this world proved that his strength was beyond expectations, but it was puzzling that he would avoid Voldemort.
"what is this?"
Just as Lamia was thinking hard, Harry discovered something magical.
