Chapter 205 Essential Reading for Newlyweds on Hygiene
Chapter 205 Essential Reading for Newlyweds on Hygiene
Seeing that Xiaoting wasn't going, Dongzhe pulled Xiang Pengfei and Tu Nan along to move the TV into his room.
The three of them sat around the bed, enjoying dried pears while staring intently at the television screen.
On television, Olympic athletes were fighting hard on the field, and the exciting matches made them cheer from time to time.
After watching for a while, Dongzhe got a little thirsty and stood up. "Brother Tunan, Pengfei, would you like some soda or watermelon? I'll go get it."
Pengfei was engrossed in watching the show when he heard Dongzhe's words. Without taking his eyes off the TV, he casually replied.
"I want a soft drink."
Tu Nan yawned and stretched. "I want a soda too."
"Okay, I'll go get it for you."
As Dongzhe spoke, he quickly walked out of the room.
Zhuang Tunan's eyes inadvertently glanced at the bookshelf and saw a book behind the tin can about to fall.
Curiosity compelled him to stand up and retrieve the book that was about to fall.
Pengfei looked over and realized something was wrong. This was a book he had rented from an old man at a street stall before he even returned to Guizhou Province. Why hadn't Lin Dongzhe returned it yet?
"Brother!" he called out anxiously, trying to stop Zhuang Tunan.
Zhuang Tunan shoved him onto the bed. "Brother what?! Get out of here."
Then he reached out and took the book out.
The moment Zhuang Tunan opened the book, his mind went blank; the title was "Essential Hygiene Reading for Newlyweds".
Quickly navigate to the table of contents.
The first section is "Why do people get married?", followed by "The structure and physiology of male and female reproductive organs".
Further on, there's the requirement to "establish a one-child policy."
"How to give birth to a healthy and intelligent child."
The following sections left him wide-eyed with astonishment.
Are these two boys really that curious about the opposite sex? Are all kids like this nowadays?
But then I thought about it again, and realized that I had been through that age myself, and back then I also had my share of unspeakable issues regarding relationships between men and women.
His brows furrowed slightly, and the scene of Lin Dongzhe hugging his sister not long ago suddenly flashed into his mind, making him annoyed!
This Lin Dongzhe!
He placed the book directly on the desk, crossed his arms, and waited quietly for Lin Dongzhe to come in.
A moment later, Dongzhe walked in carrying several bottles of soda. "Brother Tunan, the soda is here. Here, the caps are already open."
Pengfei cleared his throat, pointed to the books on the table, and whispered, "Brother knows everything."
Zhuang Tunan picked up the book "Essential Hygiene for Newlyweds" and looked at Lin Dongzhe with a serious expression. "Dongzhe, I really didn't realize you were so eager for married life."
Dongzhe sat on the bed, looking at the book in Tu Nan's hand in surprise, then turned his gaze to Pengfei, puzzled and flustered.
Pengfei lowered his head, but out of the corner of his eye he noticed Dongzhe looking at him. He lowered his head even further, filled with regret. He hadn't expected to get into trouble so soon after returning home. Why wasn't Lin Dongzhe returning the book?
The atmosphere in the room suddenly became somewhat awkward and tense.
Seeing Lin Dongzhe with his head down, looking guilty, he remained silent for a long time.
Zhuang Tunan asked again, seriously, "Where did this book come from?"
Lin Dongzhe seemed to have made a great decision. He took a deep breath, his voice slightly tense. "I borrowed it from the old man at the bookstall. His bookstall is like a hodgepodge; it has all kinds of books."
As he spoke, he unconsciously licked his lips. He was mainly embarrassed, and he was also afraid that Tu Nan would tell his father.
Zhuang Tunan then turned his gaze to Pengfei, who looked somewhat embarrassed but still trying to appear calm. He already had the answer in his mind, so he tentatively asked.
"This book, is it Pengfei's?"
Upon hearing this, Pengfei instantly forced a smile. "Brother, you're amazing! You even guessed that. I thought Lin Dongzhe would definitely return the book while I was home, but who knew? What a miscalculation!"
Zhuang Tunan ignored Pengfei's banter, turned around and strode to the door, slamming it shut with a "click." He then turned back, his gaze sweeping back and forth between the two men.
"Besides this one, are there any others?"
Lin Dongzhe quickly shook his head vigorously. "No, really no. Pengfei didn't dare leave the book with Aunt Huang, afraid of being discovered. After thinking it over, we could only hide it here with me."
At this moment, Pengfei, still thinking about the Olympic Games broadcast on TV, couldn't help but interject. "Brother Tunan, let's finish watching the Olympic Games broadcast first, and then we'll talk."
Seeing the two boys' nonchalant attitude, Zhuang Tunan recalled the scene of Lin Dongzhe and his sister hugging each other, and his anger flared up again.
"Look, you still want to watch TV! You two go stand over there! Hurry up!"
Zhuang Tunan walked up to the TV and slammed it off.
Dongzhe and Pengfei finally understood that their brother was really angry. The playful smiles on their faces vanished instantly, replaced by serious and tense expressions as they obediently stood at the door.
Lin Dongzhe also secretly peeked outside, afraid that Xiaoting might suddenly come over and see this awkward scene.
Zhuang Tunan stood in front of the two of them, half a head taller than them.
His tall stature, coupled with his serious expression, made Dongzhe and Pengfei feel a strong sense of oppression. The two unconsciously lowered their heads, staring at the ground, and their feet shuffled restlessly on the ground.
"This isn't something for people your age to watch. What, do you think watching this will make you want to get married?"
"I understand your curiosity about male and female anatomy; I've been through that age myself. But there's a limit, and you shouldn't be thinking about practicing it at this age!"
Lin Dongzhe and Pengfei exchanged a glance subconsciously.
Lin Dongzhe mustered his courage and asked, "Brother, I heard my mom and Aunt Huang talking about Xiaomin dating someone else. Are you dating that Sister Zhang too?"
Zhuang Tunan was so angry at the two of them that he almost laughed out loud. He reached out and picked up a book from the table, then lightly tapped one of them on the head.
"Don't try to change the subject, Lin Dongzhe. The book you two are reading contains content that's not something you can discuss casually, even in university. You're both still young; don't let youthful impulsiveness and curiosity ruin your future."
Lin Dongzhe and Pengfei pursed their lips, wanting to laugh but not daring to, and could only secretly hold it in.
Noticing Tu Nan's gaze sweeping over, he quickly composed himself and tried to appear serious.
Zhuang Tunan softened his tone. "Also, if you two really can't resist watching it, then you can only watch it at home, and hide it well. Don't put it in the open, and especially absolutely don't take it to school, understand?"
Lin Dongzhe's eyes darted around, and he asked with a smile, "Brother, have you ever tried it out? Is it okay to date in college?"
As soon as he said this, Pengfei couldn't help but nudge Lin Dongzhe with his elbow, signaling him to stop asking.
"What, you already have ideas?"
